Lawyer For The People
Kris Mayes is a lifelong Arizona resident, public servant and consumer advocate. She is an attorney, a mom, a professor, a former journalist, and was an Arizona Corporation Commissioner and Chair in the statewide office where she served from 2003 - 2010. She is a proven FIGHTER and will work hard every day to protect us, our voting rights, our security, our most vulnerable residents, our environment and our right to reproductive choice. She will restore integrity and ethics to the Arizona Attorney General’s office, working hard every day to put Arizonans first — NOT politics.

As a “retirement state” our 65 and older demographic is the fastest growing population in Arizona. It is absolutely critical that we be vigilant about investigating and prosecuting elder abuse and neglect.

I will not prosecute doctors or women for abortion. These decisions deserve to be made by families and their trusted medical providers — not by our Government.

Corporations won’t get a free pass when I’m Attorney General. As a former Arizona Corporation Commissioner, I have the experience and strength to not back down.

As Attorney General, I will investigate and prosecute fraud and scammers who take advantage of Arizonans, and I will use all the funds designated for that use to do so, unlike our current AG.

First it was opioids, and now even deadlier Fentanyl. Tackling this crisis not only includes stopping drugs at the border, but also proactive efforts by the AG within our communities.
